Over exposed

On my last day in Georgia my brother and I headed off to the city for dinner. For the occasion I threw on this Kim Rogers over sized blazer/dress for an effortless and relaxed look. I love the versatility of over sized blazers as you can wear them over dresses , cropped tops and high-waisted shorts or go risque and wear it as a mini dress. Try a similar look with this gorgeous vintage color blocked blazer .

For some reason this get up reminds me so much of Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface. Truth be told I wasn't even thinking of Scarface or Michelle when I got dressed that evening but I guess I watched that movie so many times that  Michelle's divine get-ups left an impression on me.

Bomber Jackets and Pencil Skirts.

While I was in Atlanta I did a little shopping at some my favorite boutiques and on one of those days I threw on this simple and light all white get up to do so. My knee length white skirt has been in constant rotation since the day I made it and my bandeau top is really nothing special , however , its this vintage bomber type jacket that's really giving this fit' what it needed.

 Bomber jackets borrow from the 90's tomboy trend and has made a come back and is now ever present on the runway this year. Try this trend by pairing this or this bomber jacket with a simple body con dress or mini shorts and a bandeau top for a dressed down night on the town.

August's Inspiration

 What more can I say I'm more than obsessed with all things white/crème right now. I'm all about crisp white suits and get-ups, high-waist everything , wide rimmed hats and loads of silver , all things big , bawdy , gaudy , sparkly , shiny , glittery and gold to compliment. I'm seeing all white in my forecast for the next couple of months but I bet you already suspected this.
